Juniper Education Consulting Inc. is a full-range, education, consulting firm with an emphasis on relevant research, assessment, and training.  After years of seeing educational entities, and those serving the education market, struggle to find and use relevant research, Drs. Jeremy and Debora Ortloff founded JEC in 2009.  Initially focused on the Gulf Coast region of the United States, JEC now provides services throughout the United States and Internationally with clients and offices in upstate New York, Houston, and the greater D.C. area.  All consultants at JEC are educators. We bring expertise in policy, assessment, evaluation, and instruction. We couple this with years of classroom experience ranging from pre-k through graduate levels. Applicable Evaluation & Program Development

For both the Higher Education and K-12 sectors, we specialize in mixed-method evaluation, providing formative and summative evaluation, including logic model development and report writing.  Working with diverse populations, in particular language minorities, and language learning environments, has been a mainstay of our work for a decade and we apply this expertise to everything we do. Our years of experience in working with educational programming also help us connect evaluation to action. Unlike many evaluation and program development groups, we are educators who are also policy and research experts. Sustainable Assessment

In the Higher Education sector, we provide comprehensive assessment and accreditation support for regional and professional accreditation. We specialize in Middle States and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) regional accreditation processes.  In addition, we provide planning support and training for strategic planning, long-term sustainable assessment, and curriculum reform.  Our workshops always leave participants with highly applicable plans for taking their own processes to the next level.
